Robin Coops is a director and composer who creates immersive, music-driven experiences. Depending on the theme, he selects specific collaborations to share the story. Technology serves as a tool to expand perception and question embodiment. He offers audiences multi-perspective experiences exploring fear and the desire to lose control. Recent productions include Orphée | l’Amour | Eurydice, an immersive VR opera with the Dutch National Opera; DONS – a club opera on masculinity inspired by Mozart’s Don Giovanni; and One Charming Night, filmed in the metaverse, reflecting on intimacy, sexuality, and consent within virtual worlds.
Robin is currently working on music role-playing performances at the Batavierhuis.
