Remco Sietsema and Simone Bottasso are the youngest generation of trekzak players living in the Netherlands. They grew up listening to the same music, learning from the same teachers. They met a lot since Simone came to the Netherlands. They have been invited to perform in the International Accordion Festival in Lommel (BE) but they also want to share their music for the Rotterdam community in Batavierhuis.
They will present a very fresh concert with new compositions for trekharmonica duo, coming from Remco’s new album Lagom, some of Simone’s compositions, adaptations from Samurai Accordion quintet and arrangements of traditional music.
If you are into bellows and free-reed music, this is the best night to come to Batavierhuis !
