Polymetrie is an international project that involves 5 musicians and composers interested in using space as a sonorous element. Original compositions are performed in a hybrid space between reality and digital world, using a virtual room and live projections on stage and moving in the spaces to play with perceptions. The common roots of the five musicians are their interest in extended techniques on acoustic and electronic instruments, the use of polyrhythms and polytonal harmonies and researching a balance between improvised and written music.
With polymetric experiences music becomes a place for the exploration of time and, after mastering it, a laboratory for his sophistication.
