Batavier Romain Bly hosts Austrian pianist David Six.
David Six (*1985), started out playing classical piano at the age of six. Soon it was clear that improvisation will take a leading role in his life. After studying piano at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, he left Austria to study Indian Classical Music in Berlin and in New Delhi.As a soloist and as a member of Stargaze, David collaborated with many outstanding artist in genres of Contemporary Pop, Jazz and Classical Music.
In 2018, he was rewarded with the Upper Austrian State Government Price for his composition platonic solids (op. 84) for chamber orchestra.
