On Saturday, June 21st, at 20:30, Cocoliche Trio will conclude their "CABERNET" album release tour with a special concert at the Concertzaal in het Batavierhuis, Rotterdam. This event will take place within the framework of the Dag van de Componist, a nationwide celebration of contemporary music in the Netherlands, organized by New Music NOW.
Cocoliche is led by Batavier, pianist and composer Aleksandra Tonelli, who already participated as a composer within this Festival. Her music brings together classical forms, tango melodies, Argentine folk rhythms and jazz harmonies, in a unique distinctive sound shaped by the diverse musical backgrounds of this outstanding trio. "CABERNET" reflects this fusion, drawing inspiration from artists like Brad Mehldau, Alberto Ginastera, Radiohead and Ástor Piazzolla.
For this grand finale, Cocoliche Trio will prepare a world-premiere created especially for the occasion featuring special guests!

Op zaterdag 21 juni om 20:30 sluit Cocoliche Trio hun CABERNET albumrelease-tour af met een speciaal concert in de Concertzaal, Het Batavierhuis, Rotterdam. Dit evenement vindt plaats in het kader van de Dag van de Componist, een landelijke viering van eigentijdse muziek in Nederland, georganiseerd door New Music NOW.
Onder leiding van Batavier en pianist-componist Aleksandra Tonelli combineert Cocoliche klassieke vormen, tangomelodieën, Argentijnse folkritmes en jazzharmonieën tot een unieke en herkenbare sound.
