The brazilian band Sophia Chablau e Uma Enorme Perda de Tempo released in 2021 their debut album through the label RISCO (Tim Bernardes, Luiza Lian) and produced by Rio multi-artist Ana Frango Elétrico (Latin Grammy nominee). The album was a success with specialized critic (Rolling Stones, Popload, SPIN) and the band was nominated as Best New Artist by APCA, an São Paulo’s critics association. Two years later, the band released its second studio album Música do Esquecimento (2023) with production by young pianist Vitor Araújo. With the single “Segredo”, they were nominated for the Multishow Award in the Rock of the Year category. The album debuted in third place on the 2023 "List of Lists", compiled by journalist Pena Schmidt, being featured in more than 40 national lists of the best albums of the year. With their two albums, the band toured more than 25 cities in Brazil and is now preparing for their first international tour, in which they travel to five countries in Europe and are part of the official line-up of Primavera Sound Barcelona.
In this concert, the indie rock band plays songs of their two studio albums, with lyrics narrating family, loving, sexual, intellectual and aesthetic adventures; addressing the passionate madness of being young and having a band; tirelessly searching for an interesting sound suitable for playing contemporary songs in Portuguese.
