A string quartet within a duet: Two voices, a violin and a cello. Two sisters, one born in Mexico and the other in Belgium. Both grew up in an old farm house in the vineyards of Font Rubí. From the quietness of that surrounding they started to compose their own songs and play together. They recorded their debut album in 2018 and started touring in Europe. Now they live in Rotterdam and with the new influences they got from this city they composed the second album, which will be released at the end of this year.
The repertoire of this concert will be a mix of their the different chapters they went through the last decade, touches of Pop, jazz and Chamber Music Folk. Their southern and their northern roots blending in the Concertzaal of Batavierhuis. Sisterwood stories and intimacy.
