Craig Fleming is a world-famous Sheffield-based photographer specializing in portrait, celebrity, fashion, theater, and beauty photography. He cherishes a lifelong obsession with analogue photography, but also works with digital cameras.
In March, Craig Fleming will return to the Batavierhuis to host one of his popular workshops in the photo studio. During this workshop, Craig will give photographers insights into his approach to portraiture, focusing on the use of lighting and shadows and directing and interacting with your subject. The session covers the use of flash, continuous and available lighting with an emphasis on metering to get the most out of your portrait sessions.
The workshop takes place on Sunday the 22nd of March and costs €400. To book this workshop, contact Craig directly via his website. There are limited spots available. The workshop’s start and end times are indicative and you will receive more information when registering. Craig will invite a model/actor for you to work with, so you’ll only need to bring your camera.

In maart keert Craig Fleming terug naar het Batavierhuis om een van zijn populaire workshops te organiseren in de fotostudio. Tijdens deze workshop geeft Craig fotografen inzicht in zijn benadering van portretwerk, waarbij hij zich richt op het gebruik van belichting en schaduwen en het regisseren van en werken met je onderwerp. De sessie beslaat het gebruik van flitslicht, continu licht en natuurlijk licht, met de nadruk op lichtmeting om het maximale uit je portretsessies te halen.
